Thinking Skills:

Games, puzzles and construction toys.

Creative Activities and Imaginary Play:

Extensive and varied opportunities to engage in creative activities.

Indoor & Outdoor Play:

Structured and informal play using interesting age appropriate apparatus on a rotation system.

Language & Listening Skills:

Stories, listening activities and conversation.

Supervised Homework:

Liaison with the HOD foundation phase and grade leaders is essential • Homework time allocation: 1 hour • The homework hour is fixed • A classroom environment is provided.

Play Areas:

• Fantasy: Free indoor play • Skills: Free structured play indoors. Puzzles, cognitive games, book corner, educational toys. • Creative / Technology (indoor / outdoor): Creative activities, Science / Technology. • Structured Outdoor activities with apparatus. • Informal Outdoor Play Area: Jungle gym, sandpit with toys, water play, outdoor toys.
